Wings of Ostara 2. Darkness | Chapter 1.
I live with my family in Borre. This is a small village in the North, near an ancient forest. Here, winter lasts for long months, and summer passes quickly. Every year, on the Yule holiday, we honor the gods and spirits. We welcome the arrival of the good Lord - the Sun King, who gives us a harvest, protects the flock from frost, and protects hunters from wolves.
The longest night passed, and summer always followed winter. But one of the soothsayers noticed that the summer is getting colder and the nights are getting longer. It is now dangerous to hunt in the forests, because monsters have appeared there.
